CommonShare is building a platform and ecosystem to service the $2 trillion and growing sustainable procurement market. building a multi-sided marketplace experience and accompanying a SaaS toolset to ease sustainability compliance, communication, and commerce. The platform is the only solution in the world that is specifically creating a common protocol for sustainability compliance.

About the Internship
We are looking for a Data Science Intern with Scripting Experience to join our team and help us with data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, have experience in data wrangling and preprocessing, and be proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Python or R. The Data Science Intern will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to develop models, automate data analysis tasks, and generate insights to support business decisions.

What you'll do:

• Collect, clean, preprocess and analyze data using statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate data processing and analysis tasks.
• Create and maintain data visualizations to communicate insights and results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and implement predictive models and algorithms.
• Participate in data-driven projects and support business decision-making processes.
• Communicate findings and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in data science and related fields.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Current part-time student or recent university graduate.
• Able to communicate, write and speak professionally in English.
• Be available for an onsite training session in our office in Tangier on April 17th
• You are someone who cares deeply about your team so you are both direct and believe in doing what you say.
• Passionate about sustainability. You understand that this is the challenge of this generation.
• Advanced Knowledge of excel and scraping tools.
• Strong data modeling skills.
• A strong communicator (both verbal and written) with great critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
• Adaptable and able to navigate a rapidly growing organization: not afraid to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenging problems.
• Willing to pursue a career in data science.
